I understand that the summary task is simply summarizing the information below, but there is no cost on this new sub-task. As I detail out the schedule and make the original sub-task a summary task, it keeps the cost attached, but I have no way of editing it. I have included a copy of a section of my code as it appears in my "Project calculates the percentage of work completed for each summary taskīased on the progress of its subtasks." However I can not get that to In the "Incorporate Progress" Menu, microsoft states, % of work completed not calculated on summary task. Please advise or point me to a solution (SR Update? Macro? I've tried changing the rollup options, turning calculation to auto and manual and vice versa and no luck. I'm using MSP 2000, but the same issue arises in 2002. I know there are posts here about this issue, but surely there is a fix somewhere. Is there ANY way to re-calculate the Summary tasks?!! They work at first, then after subseuqent changes are made, they quit summarizing.
